Six unlikely heroes unite to stop a destructive madman in space. FULL |
[Introduction]
Alright so this is your basic RP campfire. We need six characters, five others and myself. Rules: 1.NO ALMIGHTY CHARACTERS! Dont get the impression that your character has to be normal though, it can be badass. Just not a god character. 2.Your main character can have a sidekick if you want. Just be sure the focus is on your main. 3.Your first turn should be a background story telling how they came to be with the other characters. 4.Make sure you include a character profile in your first post. It should look like this Name: Description: Age: Race (your character doesnt have to be human): Moral Dispostion (just because its a hero doesnt mean it has to be good): Short, sweet, and to the point. The rest we can evolve as we go along? Alright. |
Name: Canabisman Description: 6'4" with brown hair. Wears Dark sunglasses and a black leather jacket that looks as though its seen its days. Has boots made from tightly linked chain mesh and wears tattered jeans. His hair is short and in a constant spike. Wears old, black, leather gloves with the fingers cut out so he can fire his gun. Age: 27 Race: Human Moral Disposition: Not quite evil, yet not quite good. ------------------------- Canabisman looked up from his glasses at his crew. He needed to say goodbye, he thought. I probably wont see these guys again. He pulled his old gloves on tight and adjusted the knife in his boot one last time before standing. He looked over his crew, nastalgic for the good old days, and fondled the zipper on his jacket. "Well boys. Its been fun hasn't it. I know that most of us, hell all of us, might not make it off that field today. I just want you all to understand that if I get shot out there, there will not be time to save me. Just pick up your weapons and carry on." "Canabisman," Belbos, Canabisman's best friend, started as he stood up from the bench, "you know that any of us would lay down our life for you. You cant expect us to not save your life as long as we are able." There was a brief pause. Canabisman looked into his friends eyes hard. How could he deserve such companionship? It was a question that had crossed his mind many times. "Alright then," he said as he shouldered his gun. "Gentlemen, it is a good day to die." The men took up their weapons with a mighty shout and ran toward the arena. The arena itself was a huge, sandy, square arena that was encompased by a huge 20' wall. The arena was 300 feet by 300 feet. In each corner there was a concrete bunker to house the four teams. This bunker contained arena-issued weapons and supplies according to the type of match that was in progress. In the center of the ring was a huge stone pillar reaching up to the skys at a staggering 10 stories. This tower had special prizes and secrets hidden in it for each battle. "Ladies and gentlemen!" came a booming voice over the speakers. "Welcome to the Mar Sara Stadium! Today we have gathered here to bear witness to the greatest bloodsport the universe has ever produced! We are here for Bloodwrath!" A huge cheer from the spectators in the stands above the wall went up as the four teams trotted down to the field. "All the way from thier little corner of the galaxy, what a treat we have today folks, its the team from Zerane!" The green-hued humanoids stepped forward solemnly and faced the crowd. "Lets give a big hand for the green team!" "And who could forget the space stations? We have here, from the Tanisian space colony, the blue team!" Canabisman and his crew walked forward and played to the crowd. After all, it might be their last chance. "Here, from our very own planet ladies and gentlemen, is the Mar Sara brown team!" The brown team walked forward and hammed it up, big time. The crowed ate it up as fast as the brown team could throw it at them. "Last but not least, you love them, you know them, its the red team all the way from Conoxos 5!" The crowed cheered louder for these mysterious men as they stepped forward than they did for their own home team. Who were they? "Brave men and women who are competing today," the announcer said, "take your places in your bunkers and prepare to begin!" |
Name: Athen Description: Curly black hair worn in a ponytail at the nab of his neck. Crimson leather vest, black pants and a black shirt. Black boots trimmed in red. Snake tatoo on his right bicep, and three rings of scars encircling his left bicep. A single gold earring in his left ear of a small serpent. Cold blue eyes, dusky features, and a goatee. Age: 25 Race: Human Moral: neutral *** Athen snorted at the announcer's words as he tightened the laces on his red leather gauntlets and tucked an extra knife into his belt beside his gun. His teammate, Forin, turned over his shoulder and smiled. His words echoed Athen's thoughts, although they lacked his teammate's eloquence. "'Ere that, matey? She did call us 'brave men and women' as if we were honorable folk." "Shut up, Forin," Athen said sharply. "Just concentrate on the fight." "Aye boss," the small man from the red team said, then closed his mouth with an audible snap. A moment later he opened it again. "You ready, boss?" "If I were ready, I would have given the order to move out." Athen paused for a moment, scanning the opposition as they moved to their |
Name:Captain Sarunya Gagillian Description:Well she's a pirate, what more is there to say? She wears a pair of brown trousers that end just at her knees and no shoes. Her tight black shirt is sleeveless and shows off her formed biceps. Her hair is long, brown, and curly; and her eyes are the greenest you'll ever see this side of the ANgelian galaxy. AGE:30 Race:ANgel Moral:well she's a pirate, but she's also got a soft heart **** "Are you sure this is gonna work Daoud?" "Have I ever let you down? This just helps with those aching muscles, you just touch that button there." "Ok, darling, I trust you. But only because that last planet was really a battle!" Sarunya touched the little gizmo's blue button, and felt herself get almost torn apart. What the dickens was going on? Sarunya bundled herself into the tightest self-circle that she could and tried not to breath. Before too much longer, the experience was over and she was lying in a ball behind a large group of men. Someone was yelling over a large intercom system, and Sarunya tried to understand what was going on, but she couldn't understand the language being spoken. Sarunya stood up and used her eyes to figure out where she was. It was a large stadium and there was a large contingent of men in front of her, all ready for a battle. Sarunya looked around for a weapon and spied a pile of them jsut behind her. Sarunya grasped an iron coated staff from off the pile and went back to the men who were all stiff with tension. Sarunya visibly relaxed before pulling herself up to her full height of 6'3" and waited for the next thing to happen. |
Name: Charmaine Description: Charmaine is small and a little bit larger than what is normal for someone of her height. But she is quite physically fit and strong. Brown hair down to her shoulders and green eyes. Age: 21 Race: Angel Moral Dispostion: Is often cheeky and doing things that she's not meant to be. ------------------- Charmaine sat there waiting for a chance to grab hold of a weapon and race into the fight. She often ran in before her time was scheduled and was often getting into trouble like that. "Not yet Charmaine! Not yet!" the leader called but Charmaine had grabbed her weapon and was heading towards the nearest champion of the other side. She was a really good little fighter and knew how to bring both her height and her strenghts to becoming her accetts. |
Canabisman was in a tight spot, again. It seemed this deathmatch just had it in for him from the get-go. He hadn't been shot yet but at this rate it was just a matter of time before a bullet from this barrage hit him. He was hiding behind the large spire in the middle of the arena with his back to it. He felt hot concrete spray off the pillar as another shot came deathly close to his head. He took a chance and peered around the edge to see what his enemies were up to. Stupid move. He exposed his leg just log enough for a bullet to tear a clean hole in his calf. He fell to a sitting position; breathing hard. He looked down at his leg and saw the exit wound was bleeding pretty bad. So much for the help, he thought as he saw his men under heavy fire in their bunker. Canabisman took the gun off his shoulder and fired off several rounds at the opposing side's bunker, just to get the barrel hot, and shoved it down into the wound. He bit down hard on a piece of his jacket and fought back a scream. After he had calmed down a bit he repeated the process for the other side...this was going to be a long fight. If only he could get inside the tower. There were always surprises hidden in the tower. |
Name: Moyra Description: Black hair that's kept back in a ponytail, with short fur covering the rest of her feline shaped body. She has hazel gold eyes and a short snout, resembling something of a cross between a Terren Panther and Cheetah. She has the flexablity to either stand upright, or run about on all fours, and wears outfits that allow her to do both, usually a simple leotard in black that covered just the essentials with a belt for needed possessions. Around her neck is a collar and a chain with a deep blood red jewel that glows with energy that she can tap into. She wears palm gloves and sandals, leading most of her feet and hands bare. Age: 52 Race (your character doesnt have to be human): Bastet Moral Dispostion (just because its a hero doesnt mean it has to be good): Neutral. Doesn't really like authority, but has a soft spot for people down on their luck. --------------------------------- From her view point, Moyra watched as the fight began between her fingers as she paid attention to her claws as she unsheathed them one by one to sharpen them. "You're next Cat," the male voice behind her said, "You had best be ready. I want my money's worth with t'lot of ya." Moyra shrugged and watched. She's been in the arean nearly all of her life. Gildo will get his money's worth. Always had. Since she was a kitten. She honed her skills. Became a deadly killer, profecient. And the arena made it so that she knew how to keep the crowd pleased. A Pleased crowd was a happy master. A happy Master was a few days of freedom. A few days of freedom...well, thinking ahead clouded the judgements of the now. She focused on who would be her possible opponets in the match, her restraints keeping her from getting too close to the cage bars. |
"Forin, you bloody fool, get back here!" Athen shouted, leaning against the side of the barricade as bullets, knives, and an occassional blast of blue energy ricocheted around him. He couldn't see the stout red-head without exposing himself to enemy fire, but he could hear the man call out, "I see an opening!" "I did not give you the order to move out! "Get...back...here!" Athen commanded. He did not hear Forin's response. Instead, he heard a choked scream, followed by Forin's agonized calls for help. Cursing, the captain of the red team shouted over his shoulder "I'm going out!" As much as he might dislike Forin at times, the man was part of his team. Athen drew both of his guns and tumbled away from cover toward the injured fighter as his men moved to cover him. |
She couldn't believe this! People were shooting at her! Ok so maybe that was a common occurence in her life, she usually did not have spectators! In the bunker most of the men were wounded, many others were dead or dying. Someone yelled something about their leader, he was caught in an awfully tight spot. The men knew they could do nothing for this Canabism, but she knew very well that she could. Sarunya concentrated all of her energies within herself, then began to murmur nonsensical words in a sing-song chant. When she had finished, she stood up and ran from the barracks. While she could feel the bullets being aimed at her, she also felt them turning away from her at the very last possible second, good. Only one bullet managed to get through that shield and that one landed heavily in her shoulder. Sarunya immediately distanced herself from the pain adn forgot about it. Finally she reached the tower where the guy was. He was taller than she was, barely. His leg had been shot but it looked like it had been taken care of. "You looked like you could use some help." Sarunya commented nonchalantely. Another bullet smashed into the cement and came dangerously close to the guy's head. (Hmmm, only one way around this one, I'm sure Daoud will understand.) Sarunya stepped closer to the guy and grasped the back of his head with her hand and then smashed her lips against his. Willing for the spell to cover both of them, when she seperated, she said; "Illiginia. My name is Sarunya, what's yours?" |
Charmaine was doing her best to knock every single person around her out. She backed up until she had a wall behind her. That was the way that she fought the best..that way she knew there was no way that someone could get her from behind but she was near enough to an exit to be able to get away if she wanted to even if it was going to be to a lot of people who would not be impressed with this move. |
