Worked today all by my little self, I do cut Fruit, cut Veggies, and Salads. Ate, which is something I really struggle with, I drink a coffee in the morning, and often some water during the day and eat nothing and have no desire to till a few days go by. I'm trying to improve as I know its not good but somehow can't get motivated. Total Drama on the Tv, Milo sleeping beside me. |
Pluto is a dwarf planet in the Keiper belt on the outer edge of our solar system, which I'm sure many people know as it was a planet taught to us in school until 2006. I remember watching the news when it was changed, they think it has a frozen ocean and life which I find funny. They say the size of a planet creates gravity and gravity creates an atmosphere. Mars is too small for one but Pluto being very small can. Pluto was discovered in 1930 by Clyde Tombaugh. |
Some very interesting and strange movies on Tubi today that I'm caught up in. Severance. is what I'm the watching now, can hear the washing machine going in the basement. Might make some date squares, we're under a wind chill warning so it feels like -26C and that's no fun to be in. Got the garbage out, and now watching "On Call" Prime. Very very interesting, I'll be on and off, going make some date squares and washing beds. |
Fantastic anime. Golf. Drama and golf. I don't play golf, or watch it but this is great I'm on the second season and have basically nothing all day. Some cheesy character names, but very well written and character development is spot on. Gavin is a cool kid. |
Media Prompt Challenge Not a group I really listen too, but really enjoy the whistling. A great vibe. Used a lot in media as it seems familiar. I suppose listening to the lyrics the idea is, there is really not need to worry, it often can't change our situation. That said as people we can't help but worry. A good song is you having a bad day, a great song for young children or even elderly. A good tune to sing along with I'm sure, and fans of the movie will know it. I find this stuff so hard I never really know what to say I'm sorry. |
The Blade Itself Joe Abercrombie My top recommendation from almost any site that sells books, and three booktubers recommend it. The first in three. I know he's laying the groundwork for fantasy, who, where, time, place, but I'm about halfway and its a slog of a read, friends at work laugh when I talk about it, and say don't read a book you don't like. It's not that I don't like I just find too much worldbuilding. It starts with Logan in a very s***ty situation fighting for his life, I'm game. I have no background, a glimpse of the word from whats hunting him. Great start. Then it falls off the bridge, and the next character Jezel is drunk, a solider for his world, and an ass. 200 pages of this guy and the politics that govern the soldiers and power in this world. |
Prompt #22: What plot twist (it can be from any movie, television show, book, video game, etc.) surprised you the most? Movie. What a wonderful question, and I thought of many but here is the first that creeped in and I'm sure its had the same effect on everyone who has seen this movie. I have only watched this the once, since the sub genre of body horror doesn't tic any boxes for me and looking back the trailer is not very good either, but the ending still shocks me till this day. Billy the puppet laughing is something you never forget the sound of. Two men kidnapped, wake in a remote, dirty bathroom, chained to the pipes and a dead body on the floor between them. One has a bullet, the other a rusty hacksaw. A hour and a half of mental choices no one would want to make. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy horror but not this kind, so for this to have such a lasting impact on me is quite a feat. Low budget film, crazy profits. A bunch of spin offs were made but none has the impact of the cliff hanger of the first. The dead body on the floor being alive and being Jigsaw. I was so surprised I jumped up off the couch. James Wan made his mark with this movies and has moved on to make some beauties I enjoyed very much. I often get told I should enjoy all the Saw movies since I enjoy horror, but it's not like that, gore and body horror aren't what I see as horror, old houses, creature feature, ghosts, demons, hauntings are my thing. I know I'm suppose to be brighter but this is fantastic, both for the ending but how simply effective it was for keeping me on my toes with fear, unknown, and wanting more. |
Mike my man! Hahaha! 49 books 1 manga, wow! you go! 60 books a year his sweet spot, I chocked on my coffee. Mike is my favorite bookworm for many reasons and I tried many others and they all failed, found one today who just starting Stephen King, like what hole has she been hiding under. About my age, and reads a lot that I do, and any book I've heard through him didn't fail. He has some sweet publishers sending him beautiful books. I'm sure I read as many as he does, but since the last four books sucked, I'm getting a kindle, like it enough I'll get the hardcover for it. Book space at home is at a premium now. I'm game for Blackwater. |
This is more of a reference for me, since this game is one of my favorite of all time way back on the PlayStation 1. I bought FF10 before I had the system and that was by far the best for a lot of years. I can remember the old plasma Tv, Jordan is in the car seat playing this game. All we're getting now is remakes and re mastered cause they know nostalgia sells, and my generation is one the is crazy for it. |
