I definitely agree with the statement that the best use of language is as a medium of art and emotion in literature. It's not easy to paint with words, but when it's done well, it really speaks to a person's emotional core. Lots of good food for thought to ponder.
Interesting.
I've always been fascinated with languages as well; always wondering how are humans able to just form these 'sounds' and then give them meaning and then evolve them into different things over the years and just how there are so many different languages in general! Mind blowing to be honest.
The blogger tells us the utility of shoes. That is in a scientific way. Why do we wear shoes but other mammals don't?
That is the main subject of this blog post. These are not his opinions. He proves the facts step by step with appropriate examples of why we need shows but others don't.
Lyn's a Witchy Woman Agreed!
In a few other free countries, voting is a must, unless people present a doctor's or a judge's note. Some undecided people cast an empty vote, however.
It is indeed a very valuable blog post. This blog post enlightens us about going forward towards our destination. This 'destination' is nothing but our goal or target to fulfil. This process ought to start from the Montessori level.
The aim is to make a successful person in the future level. So I understand that the blogger concentrates on showing us how to build proper personalities that serve to build our world, another heaven.
"Once a Great Notion", now, a fantasy coming true in a reality. Step-by-step I see that. Those admirable qualities we speak of cannot be but --a end-- to a good, slow trot toward "higher ground".
When I was younger I was obsessed with speed; speeding down the highway, speeding through jobs, a marriage, and life in general. The results? Life has passed to fast! I did eventually realize it's better to slow down and enjoy the ride.
Ever since becoming a parent, I've been very saddened to see the pressure people put on their kids to perform and succeed from the very beginning. Worrying about college acceptances when deciding on a preschool. Stressing out that if your kid hasn't been playing a musical instrument or a sport since they were three, they're already behind. Not taking certain elective classes, even though they're of interest, because that time should be spent prioritizing grades or core subjects. I think it's unfortunate that so many people these days seem to want their kids to grow at warp speed rather than their own speed.
