A journal reflecting the experiences of an old woman.
August 9, 2024
Life seems to be quieter lately even though I am swamped. I think the key is organization and I'm working very hard to organize my place and mind. Constant changes interrupt the best plans and as I get older it takes a bit longer to adjust and re-think the plan to make it viable. It's good for me in some ways because it helps keep me on my toes. When I was younger this sort of ever-changing schedule and tasks made me angry and frustrated. I've learned to laugh now because I realize the adjustments don't mean anything was done incorrectly, there's simply a better way to get things done
and I've managed to find it! Aren't I the (smart) ass?
The key is to minimize. I tell myself every day to keep it simple. You would never believe how I minimize.
