| Hi y'all 👋 and thanks for comments 😁 dear friends! I will try to get back to you later or tomorrow! We have laundry 🧺 tomorrow and we know how much fun that is 😉! So as I see wake up and live 🌹 mentioned Aldi's, let's get into our topic for the evening 🌆. They opened about a year ago and we went in once. Not seeing any name brand's didn't buy anything. We used to make fun in the car when we drove by,but yes know actually the joke was on us! Last time we went to Walmart, the prices had gotten so high,we decided to check out Aldi, because what we were spending on the same items,were getting out of hand ✋. Aldi's was clean and the first purchase ( I'm going off my memory) was a pint of raspberry's was $1.99! Sis love's them and has to have fruit in her diet! That's been tricky besides the price ( a pint of raspberry's at Walmart are $6.00 and sometimes higher 😩. Last time we went to Win Dixie, we forgot to look and were planning on getting frozen ones. Walmart had messed up our order and we walked out with nothing. She was hot , tired and hungry and was bummed out about not getting them. I went back in ( after she was saying " nevermind it's not important"... I could only find a tiny bag for $7. It lasted 2 days. Anyway $2.99 was a big deal! We found cream cheese for 2 bucks ( Walmart charges almost 5. I haven't been impressed with Kellogg's cereal 🥣 because the big box has less than the small ones and all the dyes they use. ( In Canada and Europe they use beet juice instead of red dye that is bad for you.) The price of a box of Special K with strawberry 🍓 is between 4 and 8 bucks at Walmart. I found a version of it for $3..39 and it tasted better than the original! We found a box of chocolate truffles for $2.99 and they were delicious and used European chocolate! The really good stuff. Not brand names but much better quality and cheaper than expected! A medium bag of cooked frozen shrimp was $6 and change! It would have been 8 or more at W. They had non food items and saw a pajamas set for $7.00 It had long and short bottoms, with 2 tops. 2 pieces are now $20. At W. So we got at least $60 or more for ( 🥁 drumroll please!) for $40. It's probably closer to $80 the way it is going. They have online too but like to pick our food out in person. It could help if your not near one or want to check it out for yourself 😜! So after filled in some things we had to get at Walmart. Spent $57. It would have been over a hundred buying everything there. So I hope this helps some of you to save some money 🤑! They are buying out some Win Dixie's. If y'all live near one. It's 9 PM and fried like an egg 🥚! Have a great tomorrow! |
