The second of my collections of poems written for "Express It In Eight."
As usual these days, I choose blog format because it offers more space for the work.

Vanished

Has anybody seen my ode?
My woes they now unload:
my ode has gone,
‘twas left upon
the dresser all in code.

And now, to really make me pout,
my sonnet’s flown right up the spout.
Oh please, allay my doubt.

Line count: 8
Form: It’s what I call an augmented limerick, rhymed aabba ccc
For Express It In Eight, 03. 06.25
Prompt: Write a lost poem.
