Wonderful poem that links footprints to bits and pieces of our memories over the years.
As we get older, we do leave a mark behind - footprints if you will - and even as they fade away, they'll always linger and be a reminder of what we once were.

Grumpy, the garden gnome,
took care of his self defence
by learning of taekwondo.
It seemed to him common sense
that a gnome should protect his garden
with language by nature ginger,
and a body suitably hardened
so he became the nightly ninja.
