This will be a blog for my writing, maybe with (too much) personal thrown in. I am hoping it will be a little more interactive, with me answering questions, helping out and whatnot. If it falls this year (2024), then I may stop the whole blogging thing, but that's all a "wait and see" scenario.

Add to #3; on the gun range, they shoot out the center of the target, but in the field they can't hit crap! Or, they need information, but shoot to kill the only person who can answer their questions.
There's a long-running UK series called Midsomer Murders where #5 is a recurring feature. Whenever the perpetrator is arrested, they immediately confess, explain their motivation and fill in the gaps.
I'd suggest a sixth one, beloved of Agatha Christie and frequently another current series, Death In Paradise, where all the suspects are assembled and the detective goes into "the murderer is in this room" mode, explaining how they worked it out, verging on accusing this one, or that one, or maybe it was the next guy, before finally zeroing in on the real perp.
