I (we) know what it's like not having a car and trying to deal with life. Food shopping 🛒 and everything else. Holidays seem to make it worse, but hang in there... The one thing about cable, there's always channels with the 1950-60 shows. Always gotta remember they weren't always great acting or sets. I think you can stream those off the internet somewhere.
I think the fact we can "watch" and not just "hear" (radio) shows is still a good invention. Content? Maybe not always so much.
I'm not sure how many kids will even be qualified to teach. I know adults now that can hardly read. They cannot read cursive, which isn't taught in most schools from what I hear.
It really speaks poorly of our education system, in my opinion. Most school, at least around here, are more interested in sports than in academics. More days missed for sporting events routinely.
