| Blogging Circle of Friends Prompt 2/28/24 Prompt: “Even though February was the shortest month of the year, sometimes it seemed like the longest.” I am not of the opinion that February ever seeming like the longest month. January, for me, drags on as a let down from Holiday filled December. I consider February to be short and, if anything, shorter than the short month. My grandmother's birthday was on February 29th. I don't remember when or if we celebrated. I assume we did. A long while back, I read an article about parents who have children on the 29th. They have been known to have the legal documentation changed to the 28th or hold up the delivery until after midnight with whatever it is that can do that. I am trying really hard to remember a time when February seemed to last the longest and can not think of a single time. It was a good prompt. |
