Thank you for your words of truth. They are not ones I like to acknowledge but are true and have the ability to destroy this country that our parents worked so hard for. Of course, this has been going on for a long time. This country has been conditioned with politics, religion, banks etc to cater to the people of wealth. These are mostly white privileged men although not always. Change is very hard to accept for anyone. We find a smooth path and stick to it mostly when it suits our needs. Nice writing about REAL life.
You are fortunate to have such talent. The paintings represented here are beautiful and your writing is very in touch with your inner feelings. Good luck on your journey within.

There lies beaches and forest.
Sand is driven by constant wind,
salty coarse plants and rugged growth
struggle to survive the rough sands.
Early morning finds a foggy mist
with ghostly images of Elk
come to lick the salt from plants.
