I love the message! There are fields in which technical expertise is highly valued and needed; but, with AI lurking at the fingertips, facts (or what passes as facts) are less important than understanding how to apply that knowledge.
It's like circles of writers critiquing each others efforts. Grammarly can correct grammar but not correctly connect with the heart. Other humans (or sentient beings) are needed for that.

That aside, I thought this was a fun little story where you managed to capture the essence of the holiday season especially with how 'complicated' getting those presents out can be, and just how hard those little elves work at this time of the year!
Let's hope Santa and Mrs. Claus treats them to more than just delicious hot cocoa.

Yesterday, I had my Harry Potter meet up.
It was fun, and there was a great insight from a 10-year-old boy.
When I said that my 'worst villain' was Gilderoy Lockhart, the 10-year-old agreed, saying that Lockhart was a 'villain by choice'. That was an AHA moment!
Then, at the same venue (Atta Galatta, Indiranagar), there was a panel discussion. I was part of the first half of the discussion, 'creating stories', and my particular contribution was 'character'. It was good. It always is nice to go back and get different perspectives on the basics.
