Thanks Kåre เลียม Enga! I'm tired of looking for jobs, interviewing, and not being "selected" as our system states it. So, yep, I'm being proactive. Ha, ha.
That's great you've met people you can connect with. My daughter has friends all over the world, so I was a little disappointed when she didn't speak for very long with my friend's daughter. But that's okay. I know how outgoing she is normally.
Yeah, clutter and I have a close relationship. I'm trying to break away. Ha!
Sounds like good news. You're being proactive (something I was not) regarding the job.
To connect... it helps if you want to connect and you're not too shy to share stuff about yourself. I managed to connect with someone who lived in Isaan in Thailand and speaks some of the local language. Also found out her heritage is Finnish and her partner is Norwegian. We had plenty to chat about. But... connecting is one of my strong points and very useful when traveling.
Now... we won't talk about clutter or 'letting go'. I have blind spots as well.
Hi, Elizabeth, I’m so happy to hear about your change of thinking. You sounded so low the last time I read anything from you. Your younger daughter will be fine and if she’s not then it’s not your fault. We all need to get away from our parents, even for a short time, to test ourselves. I certainly can remember that urge to live my own life.
You are good at administration and will get a job which you enjoy, I’m sure of that.
Good luck for Friday.
AmyJo-Spring's finally here!, oh my goodness! I'm so glad that my entry encourages you. I am in awe about how you think about things can change your life dramatically. I've apparently lived in a negative world for such a long time I didn't realize I was thinking of things in the wrong way.
It's 5 am here. I haven't gone to bed. I think I resolved one problem... but I may stay up for awhile yet. I've been really upset.
I didn't fit my job well. Tried explaining that to friends; but, I did "nothing" to change my situation. I really needed someone to help me see that. It turned out bad for me.
Thank you for sharing this. I want to make some goals, and to keep at them, not just talking about them. Reading about your struggles and overcoming them encourages me.
Sorry things are crazy right now. I get really forgetful when I forget my B12 because I'm severely deficient and that can cause things like early onset dementia and such. I don't know if it would help you, but it's worth a try and available over the counter, if you're interested.
I would love to see you online more, but real life comes first. I hope you find a job you love and that things calm down soon.
