Joy Thank you for your comments. I’m sorry to hear you have the dreaded arthritis too. You never realise how important your feet are until they refuse to work.

Nice entry and I hear you.
I too have arthritis in my feet, ankles mostly; although, except for when it flares up, usually I'm okay. I can only wear sneakers, and at home, special shoe-like slippers. The podiatrist prescribed insoles but I could never use them. Instead, softer gel-filled inserts work much better. And I would never go barefoot, even at home. I'm just not used to it.
I hope your arthritis is tamed and you feel no pain at all.
Yes, I do very much believe what we tell ourselves, in an internal convinced voice, to have a great effect on our feelings and behavior. So glad your friend is singing.
Joy Thanks for your comments. Yes, you’ve right about things changing with age. I never thought I’d find myself incapacitated. Weird isn’t it? I’m sure we all have had the sense that ‘old age won’t happen to me!’ It seems life had other plans.😂
Hope your recovery after your knee surgery is progressing well.
Nice entry.
Like you, I don't do clothes shopping anymore, and with the arthritis, I stopped walking outside, but I walk inside the house and around the yard. Things change greatly as we grow older and older.

Hats off to you! I don't think I could do what you did. On the other hand, having a lot of people fixing things while you are taking care of the kids and trying to keep them safe would have its own downers, too.
Anyhow, so glad you could and did do all that! That's some feat to be proud of.
Lyn's a Witchy Woman I wish you a speedy recovery from your knee replacements. I understand it’s a painful operation but worthwhile. I’ll be thinking of you on Monday. 😉🤞🍀☘️ Good luck, Lyn
I agree the cheetos aka the man who wants to be Hitler and Putin rolled into one, his ignorance will definitely have global impacts.
I've been getting as much as I can in order before my surgery on Monday, February 3rd. I'm having my right knee replaced followed my left shortly after. Writing didn't fit in for me either. Looking forward to seeing more of you in the months ahead.
Use these random words in your entry today: volatile, desperation. jump, arena, personal, twist, and July.
It’s July 2024, time for the Olympics, when no doubt we’ll be watching, glued to our televisions. I’ve not seen much of the Olympic venues in Paris but I’m sure the opening ceremony will be held in a spectacular arena, the teams will march proudly in their new uniforms, the Australian team in their green and gold have more athletes in the team this time than ever before. For a country with such a small population compared to the USA we are sending 460 of our finest. They will all be attempting to do do their personal best times.
No doubt there’ll be the usual volatile moments as in desperation they push themselves to the limit.
I love to watch the diving as they jump and twist their bodies from the high diving board.
