No response is a response. And a powerful one. Remember that.”
Unknown
Do you think not answering a question is a proper way to behave? Have you ever left the questions of some people without a response?

No response says more than you’d think doesn’t it? How annoying or worrying is it when someone doesn’t answer a text or a voicemail?
Your mind can leap to all sorts of conclusions, such as: Has he been in an accident? Have I upset her? Is she angry with me?
Usually there’s a perfectly reasonable explanation for a late response or even no response. They might not have had their phone turned on/ flat battery etc. Yet often we leap to the worst case scenario.
When a tradesman doesn’t return a call, one certainly gets annoyed. Especially if you’re waiting for him to arrive at a pre determined time. Obviously they know they’re late and just don’t want to listen to you being upset. What that shows to me is that the tradesperson thinks his or her time is more important than yours.

What I hate most of all is when someone gives the silent treatment and refuses to talk about an issue. How can anything ever be resolved when only one person is doing the talking?
So, yes I can think of so many times getting no response has left me anxious, confused, worried, upset or angry. Please RSVP. Respond if you please!
