Politically Incorrect Mutterings, Mostly I think it's poems so in with poems it goes |
This poetry (and a few parables, and maybe even fables, thrown in) and random opinion collection is inspired by a 1932 movie I love, called "Red Dust". In this fine film, Jean Harlow and Clark Gable hilariously debate the qualities of the cheeses they favor, Roquefort and Gorgonzola. They also discuss the shocking practice of slapping sheep before milking. Who knew that Harlow and Gable were such champions of cheese? Could dairy be far behind? This is my Product Review of the film.
In this collection, I will combine my love of film with free verse poetry and my weird opinionated view of the universe. Bring the cheese and hold the mayo, please. Opinions can smell like old cheese if left inside too long. You never know with /HOOves/tHiNg/Caroline/? Quotes will be in here too, starting in 2019, if (and it's a big if) I remember that this is for that. |
