The last Final cut entries are my efforts at writing on the fly. I allowed myself ten minutes each poem and 15 minutes each story. They are not perfect, and are not meant to be. They are simply fun timed and prompt-based writing exercises. Week 5 Prompt 1: Write a story that includes the words ice, sun, fox, ship and fire. Please bold the words, at least the first time you use them. ~ Story. The New Ones. Prompt 2: There's something not right about the place, but you have to go there... ~ Story Prompt 3: Write a poem about the last great feast your favorite GoT characters will have together. Any form except free verse - specify at the end of the poem. ~ Poetry. 4th place. Prompt 4: Take a quote (funny, inspirational, insightful... it's up to you) and turn it into a poem. Unfortunately, nobody's bothered to write you an ode. The meanies! This is your opportunity to brag share your achievements with the world. ~ Poetry Prompt 4: Pick a band or solo artist.
