Hi. I go by Raine. Its nice to meet you. Thanks for checking out my blog and commenting. I'm really enjoying all of yours too, even though I don't comment as much as I probably should.
I'm pretty lenient on the timeliness thing...a day or so late isn't gonna sink anyone. I was gifted a wholly complex scoring rubric when I inherited the 30DBC, and I've been too lazy to change it . "Timeliness" is worth between 0-2 points, and how I see that is if I'm going through the forum and I'm on the bunch of Day x entries and come across a Day x-1 or 2, I'll probably take off a point. Any later, it might cut into the "Subjective Judging/Personal Opinion" (scale of 1-5). Late entries can hurt your score but won't kill ya...I've seen people miss an entry occasionally and still place in the top 3.
AAAAAAAND my stupid laptop decided to go ahead and save my entry while I was still typing it. Gads. Anyway, it is amazing how pushing ourselves to write one thing can lead to more writing overall. I had to do a similar thing recently, which is why I joined this blogging challenge plus a writing/reviewing challenge. It worked! I'm a much happier writer now.
