I didn't have that problem with a parent, thank God. My oldest son was an alcoholic who refused help or to seek help.

Triggered my memory of having a Bank of Montreal account, ages ago.

I use a local bank where they know my face; but, identity theft goes far beyond that. One thing about WDC I like is that much of my writings are here which gives me a fighting chance to retrieve what I've written and a chance to prove that anything I've written is mine.

As for passwords... I can't remember them all. So, yeah, some are far too simple and others are written down. I use my WDC account daily. That helps.

. I actually like the song... and sometimes its good to get the blues out of you so that the sun can shine again.

Those two songs are my blues tunes.

After I listen to them it is often good to listen to something upbeat like Overcomer.

"I was just joking!" would be my pick too. I have some family members who deliver horrible insults then act like anyone who reacts without a hearty laugh has no sense of humor and / or is stupid. It's mean all around.

Yes, number 8 is senseless. It only shows how flimsy and empty the ideas or the talk of the person who says it. Mostly, I shrug such cliches off.

30 Day Blogging Challenge

PROMPT March 22nd
Write a letter to your younger self. Tell them about something or someone they should be wary of as they move through life and about a specific event they should look forward to.

Oh, there is so much I could tell you, but to do so would warn you off the things that make you who you are today. Instead, I will tell you to follow your dreams and take risks. Find you writing friends sooner and learn with them. Maybe finding them sooner, would have you challenging yourself earlier. Maybe it would have guided me off into a different way from where I have come. Wasting less time in a marriage or maybe standing up for myself longer and earlier than I actually did. Who knows, but I think in finding like-minded friends, I would have gained a level of confidence that writing alone in that time did not give me.

Everyone needs a tribe.
