My thoughts released; a mind set free

These pages contain my thoughts, from meandering ideas and persuasions to deep cerebrations and serious mentations.

Why, for what purpose? To release my mind and set creativity free. Somewhere inside the constraints of my mind dwells a writer, a poet, an artist who paints with words. In here I release those constraints and set the artist free.

Perhaps, lost somewhere in the depths of thought, is a story or a poem, waiting to be written.

Glad you were able to get the journey done 👍! Our water is yuk too, so can totally understand!I don't know where you you are but stay warm. We are in Mississippi and planning to move to Roanoke Virginia in the future. It will be colder there and will have snow ❄️ again! 😁 I pray you don't have to lay out money you don't have. I get what you mean.

My superpower is being able to ignore the "rules" about the order of drinking booze. Doesn't matter whether I (serially) drink wine with beer with tequila with whiskey with whatever else is out there, or in what order. It's not that I don't feel it the next day; it's that it doesn't matter when I drink which magical concoction.

It's definitely a mystery, and perhaps would make a nice story. I'd prefer a happy ending, or a funny one, but it could also end sad or tragic.

We did have a great camping season, and so far it's been a pleasant fall, but snow is forecast and I'm not sure if I'm ready for it.

I've been thinking about a new muse myself. Or perhaps my muse, Halo, has decided to replace me and has moved on herself. Max, my Husky tries to help, but I have no idea what he's saying most of the time.

Talk about a mystery. Sounds like the start of a book. Who was the mysterious visitors? Did they have a message for you? What will you do with the information given to you?

I'm glad your RVing season was successful. Enjoy the fall/winter season coming upon us. I look forward to more of your (mis)adventures. How goes the Muse? I am going to put up an ad for a new muse, as I think Marbles has moved on...LOL

Loved your well-written tale of your Otter 🦦 alien 👽 tail! Makes me wonder 🤔 if they were following us 30 years ago in Oregon? I've never written about it but it could be a post!

I also find that the more I have to to, the less likely any of it gets done.Take a break over the winter, get back to it in the spring, and make a New Year resolution that everything else takes a back seat until it's finished.

A Musing

I mentioned a short time ago that I need to get back to writing but have been struggling for inspiration. In times past, I could look at various prompts and Halo, my muse, would provide some suggestions. If, while writing, I got stuck or mired down, Halo would again step up with some inspiration. But, she has been letting me down for quite some time now. Hell, most of the time I don't even know where she is.

Growing tired of her shenanigans, I told her, "Halo, you have till Thanksgiving to get back to work."

"And if I don't?" She sneered.

"If you don't, you're done and I'll find a new muse."

Well, Thanksgiving arrived but still nothing from Halo. In fact, she left me a note saying she was tired of musing and quit. She wrote that she was going to find a circus to join.

Where does that leave me? The same place I've been for some time now; nothing has changed except that Halo will be in a circus with her clowning around instead of here.

One thing that has changed is I need to find a new muse to provide me inspiration, motivation, and enlightenment; yes I am a musing...
