Starting to blog again--an attempt to organize my daily routine
I'm returning to blogging after a lengthy absence. I've been spending most of my time recently on the final revision process for my Author House publication called Bipolar Daydreams

My first published book is a collection of my poems and essays, and all the content revolves around bipolar disorder. You can find the folders that contain those items here, and are welcome to add a critique or encouragement. Forty-five days after I send in my manuscript, I have a book the sell at Amazon.com and Barnes and Noble.

This blog is for venting. I've got lots of activities going, and my sleeping schedule is semi-graveyard.: I enjoy writing between 11:00 pm and about 4:00 am.

Sometimes I come to realizations when I write. I could use some of that these days. Good karma.
Back from the Moving Fog
November 3, 2012 at 10:06pm
I think it's been about five weeks that I've been working on moving. I've been picking up everything at the old house, bosing and carrying, then truckin' it to the new house which is only about half a mile away. The concept of... [Read more]
Bad Back Day
September 6, 2012 at 8:35pm
It hurts to move. It hurts to not move. It hurts to be awake. This has been going on a while. I'm 57, and most of my pain is due to congenital lower back and neck issues. I picked up too much weight too often when I was younger, because I... [Read more]
Dog War
August 30, 2012 at 4:35pm
Some people don't like dogs. Some people don't like people. I live next door to a man who hates me and my dog, and the battles of words in the past seven years has escalated to action. I got him, and now he's getting me. I've ... [Read more]
Instant Bipolar Kinship
August 27, 2012 at 11:13pm
Now I feel badly about my previous entry. A new member at WDC responded to an old poll/survey I have in my port about bipolar disorder. I'm not only sympathetic to her problems, I'm empathic. I can feel her pain and confusion. I know sh... [Read more]
How Long is Puppyhood?
August 27, 2012 at 7:57pm
My Lab puppy is between 3 and 4 months old. He doesn't bite me like he did at the beginning, but he's so mischievous. Somehow, his antics have caused my whole home phone system not to work. I can't figure out what he did, but my line ... [Read more]
Sleep, Wonderful Sleep, Until....
August 16, 2012 at 3:55am
I can't seem to get enough sleep. I can sleep away days and nights, just like they never happened. I went to bed during a pleasant sounding thunderstorm last night. I was wakened from a sound sleep twice during the night. The pup figured ou... [Read more]
Selecting Movies by Actor
August 12, 2012 at 10:53am
Maybe that tells you a lot about a person, whether they pick their leisure movie viewing by a certain actor or actress, or if they use some other sort of filter for selection. I have certain actors that I follow, and I like filsm of the Noir Era. ... [Read more]
I Love Chocolate Milk
August 2, 2012 at 10:04pm
I do love chocolate milk. My grocery store has begun stocking a brand that's new to me, called "True Moo." I buy the size I consider a single serving, and I indulge a couple of times a week. Women always need more calcium, according... [Read more]
I Am SO Angry
July 27, 2012 at 2:11pm
I tell her it's my business--to keep her mouth shut about my bipolar disorder diagnosis. It's mine. It's not my mother's. She won't shut up about it. Any new person in my life gets a new life story of mine, suited for effe... [Read more]
Is it Roofs or Rooves?
July 24, 2012 at 10:24pm
I know if it's the plural of hoof, it becomes hooves, right? At this point I don't trust my brain. The logic didn't hold. It didn't look right when I typed it, but I sent the e-mail with a simple word spelled wrong. Argh, I ma... [Read more]
Puppyhood, and I'm Loosing
July 22, 2012 at 10:48pm
The puppy is 9 going on 10 weeks old. He's been at my house a week, though it seems I've been enduring puppy antics forever. He is full of energy, and I'm older than I've ever been. He's still a baby as far as sleeping. ... [Read more]
A Perfect Saturday
July 21, 2012 at 6:31pm
Today has been pretty close to a perfect Saturday. I'm watching my second Clint Eastwood western this afternoon. Some kind of good cowboy movie is required for a good Saturday, and Clint Eastwood always fills the bill. Pale Rider is on now... [Read more]
