One of my closest friends is currently suffering from massive depression and general anxiety... she is getting therapy and meds and everything... Okay, so here's my request... I'm going to try to put together a little book filled with poetry, short stories, drawings - anything really - to show that I care about her and to try and support her through this really hard period of her life. If anyone would care to contribute something to this little project of mine, please, just contact me! ... it doesn't have to be the longest story, or the greatest piece of writing... just a little something. My friend loves to read, and I know that she would be overjoyed at something like this! It breaks my heart to see her like this... it really does... Her name is Jannique, or "JJ", as she is commonly called. She loves horses, Glee, Starkid, Harry Potter... But she just loves to read in general. I would really appreciate if I could collect at least a few entries into this book... I'm still a newbie on this site, so I cannot create a contest or something and offer some fancy prize, but I hope that I will still be able to make this... I hope to complete this as soon as possible, as I know that she really needs cheering up... I am trying my best to complete this by summer... so around june...
