Children's book. I'm working on the illustrations. Each paragraph is a new page.
Gaspard is a kitty.  He’s a kitty with no fur.  He’s a Sphynx.  They aren’t supposed to have fur.

There is something else that makes Gaspard different from other cats...  He’s a scientist!

He studied the DVD player.  He performed his first experiments on this apparatus.  He discovered that human creations are pretty simple to operate.

He studied the little TV.  He learned that it has some great cat shows on it, AND it is a great belly warmer.

He studied the ceiling fan.  Of course, he had to have a boost from the Father so he could reach the chains.

He studied lasers.  At first it was very perplexing, but after a week of intense observation, he had it all figured out.

He would like to study the laptop, but the Mother is making it difficult.  He tries to test the hardness of its “shell” with his teeth, and he tries to send messages over the internet, but the Mother pushes him off and tells him, “NO!” every time.

He studied water.  Not only can you drink it, but you can also soak in a warm, bubbly tub of it after a long day of conducting experiments.

He studied birds.  His favorite bird is the woodpecker.  At first he tried talking to them, but he soon learned that they don’t speak “meow.”

He studied dogs.  Lots of dogs.  They are very strange creatures indeed.  And, they are very smelly.

His biggest project is studying humans.  They make dogs, and birds, and water, and laptops, and lasers, and ceiling fans, and TVs, and DVD players all seem as easy as pie.

(Please make it banana cream.)
