This is a story about a man returning to his home town after twenty-one years.
Joe Taira spent his childhood growing up on the bases in Okinawa. The beautiful island was also the place of his ancestry and culture. However, twenty-one years ago, he left with a feeling of resentment and had cut himself off from the island and his friends. On an unexpected trip back to Okinawa, Joe discovers his love for Okinawa once again. During the journey, he also discovers himself.
