This is something I am currently putting together. Quite simply this is the embodyment of my disgust with certain areas of our society today. Not to say that many aspects of our American experiment are not wonderful! But certain facets of our culture are jaundiced and are commonly cloaked in excuse in innuendo. I am speaking about our criminal justice system and our inability to punish the enemies of our society. Without being to long winded I have started to vent the exhaust of my frustration through my fingers and into my keyboard. I am really not sure where the story is going but I think the "flesh and teeth" aspect of human existence has always been an intriguing subject for students of the human condition. Vengence and retribution have been the foundations of tales for hundreds if not thousand of years. Just think of my story as a modern "Cask of Amontillado" set in New York City where true arch criminals are subjected to a battery of ancient torture rituals. |
