To my beloved husband, and very best friend Eric Wharton You are my greatest treasure and I love you.
I am happily married and my life has been abundantly blessed with a wonderful loving family. My blog is about the tapestry of two lives that God has permanently woven together by His love and our journey through our many trials, triumphs, and the God-size miracles we have witnessed throughout our daily lives with our strong faith in Christ.
Oh my goodness, I'm so sorry for all this happening to you. Happy to hear you are getting better with some relief from the pain and hoping for more and more improvement in the future.
Kåre เลียม Enga Great goals to have. All except for the rice, I never acquired the taste for it. I'm envious of your travels. I'd love to visit Taiwan one day. I agree with the use or lose it. I'm not running any marathons, heck I can't even jog on a good day. I agree it's all about the maintenance these days. Hope that you're doing well.
Eric Wharton Never say never, you'll be racing with us girls soon enough. And I'm not sure we're ready to walk again in those temps. If you remember it was't the cold, it was the whipping 12mph winds that nearly froze us to death.
Let it be known that I may go walking with you, but I don't really go walking with you. We may drive to the park together, but I have to chart my own walking route because I can never keep up with you two. I see smoke coming off those sneakers.
I cannot believe I ever walked in temperatures as low as 27 degrees. I think that might be one and done.
1. Exercise (about 30 minutes). Less and slower on bad days but e.v.e.r.y day.
2. Walk. If it's the same route I get to nod hello to people who recognize me. New routes teach me.
3. Shower. Yes, it may seem odd. I even scrub my toes sometimes to increase circulation.
4. Chat. I need more connection than most people and I get depressed otherwise.
5. Eat rice. If I don't I binge.
Use it or lose it. Aging isn't about marathons; it's about maintenance.
I miss the old days of Blogsville, especially when Bugzy and I used to text and call each other daily. I hate how our old gang has drifted apart, and that politics and such has taken over the blogs. It's ruined it for me.
I never got to meet Scarlett but I always wanted to. We've met probably a dozen or so friends from WDC, and hopefully one day we'll even get to meet you in person. Kåre เลียม Enga
It's great that this entry is still available. I never did meet Ken, Melinda or David but I did meet up with friends that year and even went to England in 2011.
Blogville was fun. runningwolf04 just posted a blog today and I heard from bugzy is baaaccck!! and scarlett_o_h this week. Some folks are still active on the book of faces. Hopefully they'll stop in and look at these 'historical' photos.
Kåre เลียม Enga This was the first time we ever met David and Mel when they flew to PA to our home. Then we all went out to Gettysburg to meet Ken. Later we went to their home in Missouri, and they came back to our place in MS. We spent a lot of time together.
It's so sad losing friends. I hate seeing what cancer does to people, and their families. I hope you are doing well.
