| Prompt: February. Long story short, we are writing about February being the shortest month and the saddest month. February. We get cold and snow in February. We will get a blizzard and it seems like we are going to have winter forever. It is cold. I don't thaw out until March. It just drags on. We are short 2 or 3 days in February but we manage and the bad weather isn't going to ease up until sometime in March. Valentines Day is nice. We are anxious for winter to leave and February had other ideas. Sometimes, March is bad as well. I am always happy to see February leave.  |
| Prompt: "Embroidery is just magical for me from start to finish." Write about what is magical for you. For me, scrapbooking. I love putting pictures together in a scrapbook of events and family and pets. I would write captions and stories to go with them. It was like magical and books I had designed and created. I took classes and had a Degree in Scrapbooking. I won Grand Champion an Champion and First Place at the County Fair. I haven't scrapbooked in years and I miss it. I still write and my magic happens there, too. I love writing fiction and love writing about dragons, unicorns, Jane Austen type romances and Blog entries. I love writing in first person as the main character. Magic. We find magic in the things we love to do.  |
| Prompt: "It is a night when people place lighted candles in their home. If candles day be fair and bright, winter will have another flight but if it be dark with clouds and rain, winter is gone and will not come again." The Countess of Highclere Castle, Downton Abbey Winter has been brutal. I don't know if candles would make a difference. Louisiana and Texas are getting snow. It has been so cold. Rain and dark clouds doesn't make for good weather, either. I am not a fan of candles. They smell pretty and light up a room. Maybe they make winter seem brighter. Candles invite others in and welcome warmer weather. Winter. It can leave anytime. We turn on fireplaces and stay warm. Make hot chocolate. Cook a warm meal. Maybe if you have a horse and sleigh, go for a ride. Build a snowman. Light a candle or two. We let winter take its course. It won't last forever. |

The achievements, the good things, a good marriage, kids, pets, what we love to do, places we lived. There are good memories. Bad memories. We get past them. We can't change the past. I love the 60's and 70's best. Those are some of my best memories. Love and peace. The music. The awful Vietnam War. Hippies. Smile pillows. Flower pillows. The styles. High School Days. Activities. Prom. A good boyfriend. A bad boyfriend. Pets we had. Family and friends. Singers and TV Shows we loved. Things we collect. Your Wedding. A Rock Concert you went to or a country music show you went to. Famous people you saw in person. Good childhood memories. Religious experiences. Being on the farm with your grandparents. Seeing the ocean and mountains. Books you loved. Memories are important. It is good to save mementos of the past and loo at them and be happy. we can't have too much happiness. Thank you, Carson.  |
| Prompt: I really try to enjoy life and have joy with what I do." I try to enjoy life. After my knee replacement, I can't do some things that I used to do. Cleaning house, I take breaks. I want to make friendship bracelets. I bought a kit to do some. I still write and do some shopping. I enjoy my dolls and tea pots and fashion. I try to find joy. I don't enjoy Doctor visits. I enjoy being with my mother, my husband and cat. I love animals. I go to Church and worship God and Jesus. I read books every once in awhile. I hope to have more things of joy enter my life.  |
| "I dream of painting then I painting my dreams. " Van Gogh Joy asked if we ever wrote a story from a dream. I don't think I have. I have strange dreams but nothing that relates to my Jane Austen, mermaid, Teddy Bears, Dragons or my Zaya, the elf and her cat stories. Like Dan Curtis. He dreamed about a woman knocking on a door of a mansion and came up with Dark Shadows and I am glad he did. My stories come from TV Shows and movies I watch. A stuffed animal or doll I have. Looking at a painting or picture or a quote. Prompts off the internet or here at WDC.Things in my life I put together. I write off other characters and I don't try to sell them. I just write as a hobby anymore. Maybe I can dream up stories someday. |
| Joshua had, had it with his girlfriend Taylor. It was a hot day at the beach and she kept flirting with the life guard. She bossed Joshua around and made him miserable. She wasn't nice to people. Joshua decided to go see Aria. She was his best friend even though she was a girl. Joshua left and Taylor didn't even notice. Joshua went to Aria's house. Aria's parents were away for the weekend. Joshua walked to the back of the house. Arai was by the pool and not wearing anything. Aria was embarrassed. She stood up and now was her chance to go after Joshua. "Joshua, what are you doing here?" she loved showing herself to him. "I have had it with Taylor. She was flirting with the lifeguard. I am telling her bossing me around and making a fool out of me." "She is wrong for you. You talk to me more then you do her. All you two do is argue. She wants to change you and I love you. She doesn't really." Joshua looked at Aria an thought she is beautiful. A part of him had fantasied about her. He wished Taylor was Aria. Aria was beautiful. Did he love Aria? Aria smiled. "I am going to beat the heat. She jumped in the pool. Joshua wanted Aria. He jumped in the pool and swam with Aria. They came out of the pool and made love. Afterwards, Joshua asked her if she would be his girl. He told her that he loved her. He realized he was too dumb to know that he had loved Aria all along. "Aria, please be mine. I promise to love you forever. I am so done with Taylor." "Josh, I thought you would never ask. I love you, too. Let's make love again." Aria kissed Joshua. Aria and Josh were so happy and they spent the rest of the afternoon in the water and making love afterwards. They were the happiest couple ever. Taylor? She went through several boyfriends and regretted losing Joshua to Aria. She spent many a tearful night. |
| Prompt: Do you feel 2025 is off to a good start? Why or why not? No. Trump is trying to do things right but he just started. Shootings are still going on. An earthquake happened. I know the world isn't perfect. Personally, my life is the same. It is cold and my mother is having problems with her internet. Dad's monument for his grave isn't here, yet. My aunt just had a kidney stone blasted out today. I have written some stories. Christmas but I am writing stories about Zaya, an elf in the North Pole and I love it. I hope for good things for 2025 and I hope my arthritis gets better. I hope everyone has good things awaiting them. I won't give up hope for 2025. |

What kids of joys and fears come to your mind about the next twelve months? I have my fears. We don't know what politics will bring and I want to think Trump will make a difference and hopefully, the world will quit being at war. I just hope I won't need any surgeries and my arthritis meds will help. I pray about this. Weather wise. What will the winter bring? I hope we don't get a lot of snow. It is cold right now. My uncle has dementia. My mother is doing better then me but sometimes, I see she has problems, too. I worry about her. I just stay at home since it is winter and don't want to go anywhere but I still enjoy shopping but when it gets warmer. We just had Christmas, so I don't need anything. I just pray God will make things alright for all of us. |
