Snowbirds. They are grey and white. So plump and cute. They don't fly away in the winter. They sit on tree branches and study you.

We throw old bread out for the birds. We get crows and a few snowbirds. I feel sorry for them. They do survive.

Anne Murray has a song about a snowbird. She tells the bird to take her with him when he goes and to take the snow back with him. This sing we are playing at our mother's funeral. My mother and grandfather loved this song. Sometimes, you feel like flying away when life gets you down. Good bye Mom. May an angel and snowbird take you to Heaven.
