Times heals ...or not. I keep having flashbacks of bad times. Unfortunately I don't remember the good times as vividly. My father has been gone 13 years and it's time to collect stories I guess. My sisters will remember better than I do. I have memory problems. And my mom turns 90 on Monday sDq. Nice to see your name pop up and nice to read this entry from then...
Sometimes there aren't ample words to describe the sad feelings of losing a loved one. I only wish I had some words of advice for you but I don't. As it's only been three short months since I've lost my own mom and it still hurts as if it were last week.
I cling to my memories I have and that helps ease some of the pain. And you have lots of wonderful memories of your sweet dad. Cherish them.
Thank you Sheila.... You have always been a true support to me through all the ups and downs..... and there were many.
This is the hardest thing I've done but I know time and memories will heal the wounded spirit....
I love you guys!
This is sad to read. I remember reading the book you wrote about this wonderful man. We are fortunate you have shared his life with us. I'm really sorry. You will always have your memories of him. At least he got to see you happy again, it was wonderful for him I know.
Thank you, Scarlett! I remember when you lost your Mum......
The stories and memories always brought a smile..
Has it really been that long on WDC? wow!
I stumbled in here and looked around for someone I know and was really surprised to see this entry. Congratulations Diva and may the two of you have a long and happy life together. Good to see you again.
