Boy #3 is trying to purchase gratitude hoping you will mistake this emotion for love/like ....hence the volunteering and used tires.
If he was really serious and not looking for the easy road to your heart....he would quit smoking. Of course volunteering even for selfish reasons, is still a good thing.

I didn't know you had traffic up that way. Heck, I didn't know you had cars! Thought everyone traveled by kayak.

Smoker #3 has moved way past the "leaving the phone" ploy, and has now ventured into "leaving the auto accessories" ploy. Bold move!

Just by the fact you call him "boy" #3, I suspect it will be short lived....hell, you need a MAN !
Go to the meeting next time, bring your own chair, one like the directors use (you know a little taller than your average chair) put a phrase on the back like (not for dick sitting or chicks only)

This way when you sit in it, they will all have to look up to you....I think it would be cool....... draw back is you might see a lot of bald spots!

Wow! I'd say you're one brave woman to be on that Commission with the "pods"! I know how frustrating and draining it must be and I admit I would likely quit. But you're younger and feistier than me, so... It sounds like they really need more people like you there to stir up that good ol' boy mentality that, at best, keeps us stuck in the status quo.
