This is my first attempt to be a blogger. I hope to type a few items that you will enjoy.
I do not know where to begin with this description. The time period is from 0 to now. Please don't ask how long that is. I am sure with certain clues, you will be able to figure that out.
I am writing this on my favorite old computer at home. I have a computer room that doubles as a retreat for a few of my pets when they want to be alone.
I will cover mostly current thoughts. I hope to add some pictures as I have seen in a blog. I think that to do this sharing will take a lot of work, but the pictures I have seen are well worth it.
Occasionally, I might review a flashback in mylife. I have times when I just roll that special even around in my mind until it has every possible facet examined. Usually this time is to try to figure out a "what if" scenario.
If some of my items have no zest to it feel free to say so. I think that after I have some a few trial runs, then the real me will be out for all of the world to see. Luck you! As the saying goes, "Come with me and the best is yet to be."

How do they do it?
What is their secret?
Have they found the Fountain of Youth?
Well I think that a person has good genes they can fight off diseases. And if they have healthy habits, then there might be significant time added to their life. It follows the advice that when one takes good care of their car, then it will last longer.
But with people who have the blessing of reaching 100 years of age, the answer is a little different . Overall, I am guessing that eating right, exercise, and rest as needed could count for 95 % of the chance for that magical number.
I have known a few people who reached their late 90s. One of my grandmothers was in her 90s when she died. She worked hard with her husband who she loved immensely. She loved her family. And she was religious. How do I know #3? When I was a child, who spent 2-3 weeks per summer, she sang every hymn she knew at night when we were all in bed. You did not want to tell her that you were sleeping. You just learned the verses of them hymn and knew that her singing would be over soon.
My husband was married to a wonderful lady who reached 99 years and about 200 extra days. They were very happy and enjoyed trips, as well as fun activities. I think that helped also.
Jill was a former nurse who specialized good health routines. She read a lot. She also kept her mind busy. Having a super husband was so helpful in all aspects of life.
From what I see, some of my favorite actors lived to about 100 years. I liked Kirk Douglas, George Burns, Olivia de Havilland and Bob Hope. I am only sorry that Betty White did not make it. I am pulling for Clint Eastwood to go 100.
So let’s give a cheer for those old timers. Light up the candles on their cakes and sing “Happy Birthday” slowly. That is a wonderful accomplishment. And for those who would like to make 100 years old, take good care of yourself and go to the doctor if you get a sniffle. Have a good day everyone.
