When Nathaniel Hawthorne was writing, he kept a series of journals, The American Notebooks. They were part daily journal, part diary, but mostly a place for him to jot down and try out bits of writing he hadn't a full venue for yet. He kept character sketches, odd bits of conversation, and observances he wanted to remember for future writings in his notebooks. This, then, is my place for odd bits I want to remember. When you read this, keep in mind, you are rummaging through my mental storehouse.

Yikes. I used to work with a little girl diagnosed with a condition called alternating hemiplegia of childhood. I was around a couple times when she episodes, so I have an idea of what can happen, and I'm just really sorry you're going through this, but glad you're not going through it alone. Joss is good therapy. Tony and I are able to have entire conversations by just quoting Firefly back and forth.
Damn! That would've scared the crap out of me. I'm impressed you didn't wreck the car. I surely would have. I really hope things take a turn for the better soon.
Oh my, this is terrible news... even if it could be worse.... how painful and frightening! Yes, drop the class and try to slow down a bit. I'll send some good vibes your direction in the meanwhile .
