The consenquences of lying / trichain

Trichain consists of three or more quatrains (four line stanzas). The first three lines of each stanza is written in iambic tetrameter and the last line is iambic trimeter with a rhyme scheme of aaab, cccb, dddb, etc.

Love of my life I miss feeling your beating heart
You had to go away because they tore us apart
It was their mission to destroy us from the start
Bloody lies drip from this instrument of hate

You will always be the only one for me
This is just something they’ll have to see
The wretched people don’t want us to be free
They run their mouths at any rate

Only you and I will know the truth of it all
They try to fool everyone with their lying call
I miss you now you’ve departed behind the wall
I will love you so they needn’t use any bait.
