Spectrum

There are more than a million
colors in a rainbow.
Yet, our human eyes,
with their limited vision,
see only a handful.
Still, this radiant arc
of beauty and promise,
fills us with awe
as it gracefully bends
over the earth.

And when a tear falls,
We think we see the pain.
But our limited understanding
cannot fathom the complexity;
That held in a drop of sorrow,
are all the shades of the human heart.
