Daylight boxed by nighttime's husk.

Daffodils of winter's morn
stand, salute in freezing cold.
Paints, acrylic, life has borne.
Shades of color, full and bold.

Spiky sun of pencil art.
Homage to Dali's style of thought.
Nighttime landscape doth depart
from the rules, we've all been taught.

When the world by new eyes seen,
artists bold create a day
juxtaposed on canvas, clean,
real, but newly on display.
