Tomorrow is a new month and to celebrate spring I decided on Marilyn Singer's poem April Is A Dog's Dream. Even in this time of uncertainty and nerves, it is important to remember dog's live in the moment. Maybe for our own sanity and peace of mind we should try to take their approach. Get out and enjoy the world around us... just keep a good 2 meters away from anyone. Also remember, physical distance does not mean we can't be social; so smile and say hello. That can do a lot to lift the spirits of others, and our own too.

April Is a Dog's Dream

april is a dog's dream
the soft grass is growing
the sweet breeze is blowing
the air all full of singing feels just right
so no excuses now
we're going to the park
to chase and charge and chew
and I will make you see
what spring is all about
