So playing the trombone wasn't getting me in enough trouble?

Mind Reading? No Thanks!
Think about it. Would you really want to read someone's mind?

Isn't it disappointing enough when someone you know, possibly respect and or love does or says something exceedingly hurtful or surprisingly dumb?

What would it be like to know everything anyone thinks? Every thought they harbor about you, others you care about and the world in general would be laid bare for your to see and feel. You'd share their triumphs and disappointments. Their world view would have to affect yours, coloring your personality and affecting your moods.

How comfortable would you be in your own head, if you had to be in other heads too? I have enough trouble with my thoughts, I have no need to sort out other peoples!

Nope, please keep your personal thoughts just that; Personal. I promise to stay inside my head...you stay inside yours.

Deal?
