Issues can be intellectual games. Take the 'economy'. How does it affect me it what I'll ask. I don't have a business; I don't have stocks. For those who are White, male, heteronormative, and Christian and have 95%+ friends who are likewise, the issue of human rights may seem equally abstract. But for me it's a key issue. The military draft back-in-the-day was similar. Those it affected cared the most. So what's left if not issues? Character! And personality. When I look at the candidates, all of the Dems do better than DJT. I think Sanders scores high on integrity and message; Buttigieg on demeanor. Warren on many issues. I'd gladly vote for Klobucher or Yang. I'd vote for Biden ... but he's not my favorite. I don't feel warm towards Bloomberg.

For the GOP ... at least Romney has a sense of decency. Too bad no viable candidate has come forth to challenge DJT. To me it seems like the main issue is the establishment of the CMTA (Christian Military Theocracy of Amerikkka) and character and human rights do not matter.
