Almost Done With My WDC Short Story for This Month

I almost forgot to write this blog entry for today. Forgot isn’t the right word, though. because I didn’t forget. I planned on doing about eleven PM WDC Time. but I have been working on my WDC Short Story for this month that I almost didn’t do it in time.

I’ve got some good and bad news about my WDC Short Story. I haven’t finished it yet. But I am sort of down to my final section. Why do I write sort of? It’s because I have finished writing section nine. I just need to do a lot more editing before I can get down to two hundred words or less.

Once I finish with section night, I can do section ten too. And once I do that then I will be almost finished with this Short Story. I write that because there are a couple of more things that I need to do to it before I can create it and enter this contest for this month.

One thing that needs to be done is to convert it from Single Past Tense to Single Present Tense POV. I have done it with section nine already. And I plan on doing it with section ten too. But that leaves the other eight that I need to do. I don’t think that will take too long, but I feel that I do need to do them.

The second thing that I need to do is my Grammarly check for this Short Story. Except for the misspelled words because of the Cathenna and Montan, I usually don’t have too many errors that need to be corrected. At least I usually don’t have that many. But sometimes I do.

Even with me not working only one workday this week so far, I haven’t gotten this Short Story written. What does that mean? It means that I’m not going to be able to write the other two short stories that I planned on writing for this month. I was hoping to get at least one more written. But I’m not even going to be able to do that.

I don’t know if I will get it all done tonight before I go to sleep. But I’m going to try. After all, I only have four more days this month to do it. I’m sure that I will get it written before this month is over with. I just don’t know how fast I can do it.
