In the Castle of Chihriq:
To The Bab

Because of the Bab's growing popularity
in Mah-Ku,
Haji Mirza Aqasi
to Chihriq--
"the Grievous Mountain"1.

Yaha Khan2
was so impressed by the Bab
that he ignored orders
that would have prevented
anyone from meeting the Bab.

Indeed,
even the Kurds
living in the surrounding towns
were impressed
by the gentle strength
of the Bab.

The Bab's imprisonment
could not stop the spread of His faith,
but rather increased it.
