A Normal Monday for My Writing

Except for this blog entry, I haven’t gotten any writing done today. Well, that isn’t exactly true. I have worked on my WDC Short Story for this month a little bit. But so far all I have gotten is the title and what it’s going to be about. At least I do in my head. So far, I haven’t written any of it down. I haven’t had the time to do it today.

It has been a very normal Monday off work for me. I have been busy doing things that needed to be done all day. Almost from the time, I woke up today up until now I have been on the go. I’ve barely had time to eat anything. It has been that busy. Do I plan on working on my Short Story after I post this blog entry? Yes, I do. But I probably won’t. It has been a typical Monday for sleeping too. I didn’t get too much sleep last night. Don’t ask me why because I don’t know. A lot of Monday mornings are like that. This was one of them.

That’s enough about today. Now for the really bad news. I still haven’t figured out my repetition problem for my Water Wars project. Thought that going back to one or two main characters leading off and ending each act would solve it. But it didn’t. It’s still the same problem. Only the scene numbers are slightly different. So, I went back to the way I wanted it two work out with two or three characters. But so far that hasn’t worked either. I did work on it a little bit after I got home from work with my laptop. It didn’t work that way either. Maybe that’s why I didn’t get too much sleep. I’m worried about this project.

If this was during the week, I could partially blame work for part of my not getting too much writing done. But I can’t do that. It’s all my fault. It was a very average Sunday at work yesterday. True, it was a little bit busier than it was on Saturday. But it wasn’t that much busier. It was a typical Sunday. The only one to blame for me not getting more writing done yesterday and today is me.

What am I going to be doing tomorrow? I hope that I’m going to be doing a lot of writing on my WDC Short Story. If I’m lucky, that is what is going to happen. But it probably won’t. I’ll be lucky if I can work on it at all. I don’t think that we have anything that needs to be done today. But I have thought that before. And I have been wrong. So, I’m up in the air about that right now.
