Golden Retriever

I checked the word list from 1919 (I was a mere youth) and came up with "golden retriever" ... first used 100 years ago.

Now, Elizabeth Warren has a golden retriever... but she's not quite that old. A mere child, IMHO.

Immune system and pissoir are also 100 years old! And sukiyaki.



This version has the lyrics. The photo is appropriate as he was known for his smile. Kyu Sakamoto ( born 1941) died in the 1985 plane crash of flight JAL 123.

As for my mother... baloney (from 1922).

However blame global warming on me. I won't mention the year... but it wasn't that recent.

So I don't have much today.

I tried writing a flash fiction with only dialog. It's also a bit whacky:

I have no one to complain to about my frustration with my writing. I get so little feedback from friends and on-line. A writer must sometimes just suck it up and keep writing. There is a sense of loneliness and disconnection that sets in. I do the best I can when I feel this way.
