Another Typical Tuesday for My Writing

My second day off from work has been typical. But I was wrong about what I wrote in my last Blog entry. In it, I wrote that I knew that we were going to be busy, but it wasn’t going to be too busy. I was wrong about that. It has been a very busy Tuesday for me and my brother. In fact, it has been so busy this is the first chance I have gotten to do any writing.

It’s not like I don’t have anything to write about. I do. I’ve still got The Musicology Anthology Challenge to do if I continue doing it. Also got the WDC Contest for this month to write if I do it. And I probably will. Finally, my entries for the NaNoWriMo challenge this year. I was thinking about doing a Horror/Scary Novel this year. But I think that I’m going to do a couple of Dramas instead.

I doubt that I am going to continue with The Musicology Anthology Challenge this year. If I did, I would have to write about two stories a day. That’s about two to three thousand words each day. I can’t do that anymore. True, I don’t like to do that. Once I am committed to doing something, I hate it when I can’t finish it. That’s just the way that I am.

I’m still not sure if I am going to do a WDC Short Story for this month. Most likely I will, though. I have come up with a couple of story ideas. I’m just not sure which one I will do. If I do write one, it will probably be the Science Fiction Mystery Drama one. Only this time I’m going to write it like everyone else. I’m not talking about the Earth or Earth-related. In fact, they aren’t even going to be humans this time. No, I’m talking using their terminology for things like doors, windows, houses, buildings, etc. I prefer to do it that way. But I’m not going to do it this time.

October Prep month is coming up in a few months. And I still want to participate in it if I can. At first, I didn’t think that I was going to be able to do it this year because of everything else I’m involved with. But I think that I will. Especially, since I have decided to drop my last remaining contest. Last month I forgot to do a Prompt until a couple of days after the first. But no one even noticed it. That tells me no one is interested in it anymore. I wrote in my letter to myself in January that I would let it go through the whole year. But I have decided not to do it.

Tomorrow I will be returning to work. Which means I’m going to be going back to writing the movie Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. It’s a Wednesday. So, I probably won’t get too many scene paragraphs done. But I’m hoping to get at least fifteen of them finished. And I may be able to do that since I’m starting Act Four. Which means about five to six of them will be Establishing Shot. Only time will tell on how many I get done. But no matter what it is I’m going to get any many done as I can.
