Better Almost Late Than Being Late

Yes, I know that this Blog entry is very late today. In fact, it’s almost too late to post it. Normally, I post my entry for today before I go to sleep. But I couldn’t do that last night because I went to sleep as soon as I came home from work. Why did I do that? Because I didn’t go into work today. I had to take the day off to do something very important. At least it was important to me.

There was something that I had to do today. Unfortunately, it didn’t go as planned. It was worse than that. I should have gone to work after all. Yes, I know that is calling the kettle back the way I have been feeling about work. But it’s true. It would have been better to have gone to work today. Why am I writing that? It’s because of the reason why I took off today from work. I lost a day’s pay for nothing.

Not only didn’t it pay off, but it took me almost the whole day to do it. That’s another reason why I’m waiting so late in posting this Blog entry today. That isn’t completely true, though. I was also fine-tuning my WDC Short Story for this month. And I’m almost done with doing that. Probably won’t have the time to create it and enter this contest today. But I should get it ready for entering it tomorrow night before I go to sleep.

I’m going to try to do it tonight. But I’m very, very, very tired. I only got a couple of hours of sleep last night thinking about what was going to happen today. So, I might not get it all done today. Hopefully, I will have enough awakeness to do it. But I doubt it.

Speaking of yesterday, I did okay at work. It wasn’t great when it comes to my writing. But it was about what I figured it would be considering how busy it was at work. And it was extremely busy. In fact, it was one of the busiest days so far. I’m kind of surprised that I got thirteen scene paragraphs done with the movie Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project.

I probably could have gotten another two paragraphs done. But I didn’t do it because I like where it left off. With any luck, I will get the fifteen done today to finish off Act Two. If I can do that, that means I will be one-fourth of the way through my movie Treatment. That’s what I am planning to do tomorrow. But only time will tell if I accomplish that or not.
