Didn’t Get Too Much Done Yesterday on My Scene Paragraphs

In fact, I didn’t even get five scene paragraphs. What is the usual reason why I can’t get too much writing done at work? If you say it’s because of work, you’re right. Unfortunately, it is because of work I didn’t get too much done. I wanted to write. But I couldn’t. All because of work.

When I got to work yesterday, I found out something that was going to make my job a whole lot harder. Even harder than the orange cones, I had to remove for about two months. I’m going to have a lot of problems writing at work now. It’s that much harder. I should be able to do some writing. But it’s going to be reduced by about half, if not more.

It’s not just something new either. It was work itself too. Yesterday was a typical Wednesday. At least it was a normal one prior to two or three weeks ago when it was very busy at work. It was like one of those days. Busy isn’t all of it, though. that new something wasn’t working. So, I had to deal with that too. That’s why I didn’t get too much writing done yesterday.

Normally, the reason why I can’t write because of work is that I’m mad, bummed out, or depressed. I am very mad. Not because of the extra work. That I can handle. It’s because of all the problems that came with it. I don’t think that I’m depressed either. At least not any more than I usually am. But I was kind of bummed out about it. Not enough to stop me from writing because I couldn’t concentrate on it. That wasn’t what my problem was this time. I wanted to write. But with everything going on around me I couldn’t do it. Does that make any sense to you?

It did affect me after I got off work, though. first, I had to work an extra twenty minutes because my relief was late in getting there. It’s a good thing I posted yesterday’s Blog entry before I went to work. Otherwise, I would have missed another day. All because of work. I got home from work minutes before midnight WDC time. So, if I would have waited until I got home my Blog entry would have been late again. And that hasn’t happened in two or three months, if not longer.

After I got home, I didn’t feel like doing any writing either. I was planning on doing my sixth Short Story for The Musicology Anthology Challenge when I got home from work. But I didn’t feel like it. That isn’t the only reason, though. I also didn’t get the chance to do too much eating at work. So, I had to eat when I got home. That’s the main reason why I haven’t done any writing up until doing the Blog entry.

Today at work I’m going to continue working on my episode one scene paragraph Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. After yesterday, I’m not expecting to get too much of it done. But I will get as much done as I can. I’m hoping to get a lot done. But if it’s as bad or worse than it was yesterday I probably won’t get too much written today either.
