Something Good Happened at Work Yesterday

No, it’s not my writing. Even though that was very good too. That’s not what this title means. It means that they finally fixed the gate arm at work. Which means I’m not going outside as often as I used to do. I still need to do it every so often. Especially, the last few hours of my shift. But not every time when the gate was busted. Like it has been for the last couple of months.

That also gives me more time to do my writing. True, I only got fifteen scene paragraphs done yesterday. But they were the hard fifteen to do because they were at the end of Act one. Why do I think that they are almost as hard to do as the first few? It’s because I like to end my Acts with a cliffhanger. And it’s usually a true one too. What do I mean by that?

Acts one and three, five and seven for this movie, are what I call lesser Acts. They are the information gather Acts with a little bit of action. My second and fourth, sixth and eighth, Acts are the stronger ones. They are more action-oriented. Not just the fives and tens, but with the ones, threes, six, and eights too. The ones, threes, six, and eights just aren’t as strong as the fives and tens.

I know that sounds confusing. It’s a little bit confusing to me too. And I’m the one writing it. But if you read my Treatments, I think that you will understand this Blog entry a lot better. At least I hope that you do. If you don’t, you can always email me for me to try to explain it to you better. That’s true with any of my writing. If you want a better understanding of what I’m trying to write you can always email me.

It doesn’t look like I’m going to get any more done on my WDC Short Story done before I go to sleep last night. But it’s not because of bored, tired, mad, etc. It’s because there is a storm going through this area overnight. In fact, I had to drive home in the worst part of it. Which means it took me an extra fifteen to twenty minutes to get home from work yesterday. By the time I got home, I just didn’t feel like working on it.

So, what am I going to do today at work? What have I been doing lately? I’m going to continue working on my movie Treatment for my Water Wars scriptwriting project. I just don’t know how much of it I’m going to get done. Hope that I get at least fifteen of them done plus a few Establishing Shots. A lot of what I can or can’t get done is related to work. If it’s a typical Thursday like it has been lately, I might get that many done. Then again, the way I have doing this movie Treatment I may be able to do it. It all depends on how busy I am at work.
