It’s Almost Over for My WDC Short Story for This Month

It’s that time of day for me to put aside what writing I am working on to do this Blog entry. There are less than two hours left until the end of the day. So, I have no choice but to do it now or miss another day without one. I don’t want to do that if I can help it.

Turning off the television worked again. I accomplished what I wanted to do last night before I went to sleep. True, I was hoping that I would get at least three sections for my WDC Short Story done for this month. And I did them. But I ended up getting it all done. Once I started writing it my fingers took over.

I can’t believe I got it done in only a few hours. But I sort of did it. What do I mean by sort of? I mean I got it done. But I still have a lot of work to do on it. Not only do I need to prepare it for creation and posting, but I need to come up with a way to reduce the Word Count by several hundred words.

That is what I have been working on for the last several hours. I have gotten the first four sections. Now I’m working on the biggest one of them all. It’s not going to be easy to cut out so many words. But it can be done. The big question is how hard it’s going to be to do it. And how long it will take to finish it.

After I get done with this Blog entry, I’m going to go back to working on it. I don’t think that it will take too long for me to finish editing it. But no matter how long it takes I’m going to do it. Even if I need to stay up all night to do it. After all, I only have a few days left to finish it for this month.

Once again, I’m going to do it without the television being on. I did it last without too much problem. I don’t think I will have any problem doing it tonight before I go to sleep. If I still could bring my laptop to work, this wouldn’t have been a problem for me. But I can’t do that. So, I must get it done today.

Tomorrow and the rest of the week at work I will be continuing to work on my Water Wars Outlines. I’m hoping to get them done by Friday so that I can start working on my Treatments this weekend. But I don’t know if I’m going to be able to do that or not. It depends on two things: how much erasing I need to do since I must do it by hand and how much work I got to do at work. Whether I get the Outlines done by the weekend or not, I’m going to do as much as I can on it.
