Reading and writing...
I’m a little fried. I spent an hour or more writing my Thrice Prompted story. I’m at the end of it. It’s about 2.5k words long now. I have decided to give Wealthy Affiliate a break for a week. I need to get back to my passion. I still need to get published. lol. I’m hoping (and praying) I’ll get published by the only company I’ve ever submitted to. It’s also Christian of course. I’m waiting anxiously for 90 days to expire. That is the earliest I can inquire about my book.

While they promise then liberty, they themselves are slaves to corruption. By whom he is overcome. By also he is brought into subjection. After they have overcome the pollutions of this world by the knowledge of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ, and are again entangled in them again, the latter is worse for them than the beginning. For if they receive the commandments…

That’s as far as I have down precisely. lol.

My mom just got brought home from the hospital by Jim. I have no idea what the prognosis is. I begin pretty much every sentence with “I.” That needs to be corrected. There certainly is more fluency with not abusing words. It’s a habit – one that is easily fixed.
It’s going to be fun doing the WdC official contest. This round, it is Short Shots. It’s a pic of a speed boat going through a lagoon. I think I’ll call my story The Aisle of Mist.
Also read for an hour. I’m in the middle of Paradise War, the first in a trilogy called the Song of Albion. The author, Stephen Lawhead, makes ethereal descriptions of the environment. He makes good use of light and mist. The feelings of the protagonist are richly portrayed. He really gets into the mentality in which he experiences in the realm of Albion. The whole book begins as urban fantasy that starts in Modern Britain. Then he crosses into the world of Albion. When he first arrives, he is anxious to go back to the manifest or real world. After years of living there, the protagonist doesn’t want to leave. At this point, he is trained in the art of war and develops a warrior’s physique. He also takes a liking to a beautiful woman. I forget the name of her.

Well, I’m tired. Goodbye.
