Friday Has Been a Very, Very Good Day for My Secret Project

True, I didn’t get as much as I wanted to get done yesterday on my secret project that I have been working on the last few days. But I have gotten a lot more than I thought that I would have done. Why didn’t I get more done? What is the usual reason why? Of course, it’s because of work.

I would like to blame work. I can a little bit. But not completely. It wasn’t very busy at work yesterday. It wasn’t a typical Friday. Especially in the first half of my shift. That’s when it’s usually the busiest. The first couple of hours are usually very busy. But not yesterday.

It was the second half of my shift that I got very busy. It was very bad in the last couple of hours of it. That isn’t all that unusual, though. It usually is that busy. Especially, the last hour of it. In fact, it’s usually the last half hour. That is when it gets the worst of it.

I’d like to blame all my lack of writing more on my work. But I can’t. True, it was a lot to blame on it. But it wasn’t the only reason, though. It wasn’t even the main one. The main reason is that of me. I couldn’t concentrate on it. I know what I wanted to write. I just wasn’t sure how to write it.

That still isn’t the only reason, though. I also changed some of the one sentence sentences. That changed the paragraphs too. So, I really did a little bit more than I got done. It’s still not half of part one. But it’s close to it. Hopefully, I can finish it today at work. But I don’t think that I will.

Saturdays are usually very slow at work. So, I might be able to finish this first part. But after the last few days, I’m not counting on it being as slow as it normally is. I hope that it is, though. If it is, I may get this part done. If it isn’t, then I won’t. It all depends on how busy at work it gets today.

If I don’t get it done today, I should be very close to doing it. About five or six paragraphs away from getting it finished. It might be as many as ten or eleven. But I don’t think it will be that bad. Of course, if work is busier than usual it might be that many if not a lot more.

I have continued working on this part one today. I will work on the other one tomorrow. Hopefully, I will get them both done this weekend. I would like to start part two of this secret project when I return next week on Wednesday. I’m just not sure if I’m going to be able to do that.
