Day 2257: Use this quote in your post today: "Enthusiasm is the greatest asset in the world. Its potential value far surpasses money and power and influence."~ Og Mandino According to the Cambridge Dictionary, enthusiasm means "a feeling of energetic interest in a particular subject or activity and a desire to be involved in it, or a subject that produces such a feeling"1. This means that an individual can be enthusiastic about money and/or power, without caring about anything else. Enthusiasm is wonderful if the individual can focus that enthusiasm on something else besides selfish purposes. If an individual is focused on achieving money or power, that person will eventually be disappointed because the wealth or power will eventually depart leaving the individual in a state of deep depression. Enthusiasm, like all other spiritual attributes, needs to be focused on something that is productive to both the individual and humanity. If the focus is on purely material gain to the individual, it is unproductive and leads to disappointment and other negative emotions. Enthusiasm breathed into humanity with the Breath of Life.
